Backyard Cat | April '15
This beautiful boy has been hanging out in my backyard for several months now, and even befriended my cats. The other day, I decided to take some kitten portraits of him. Enjoy!
SoCal Corgi Beach Day | Huntington Beach
Four times a year, SoCal Corgi Nation puts on a Corgi Beach Day at Huntington Dog Beach - one for winter, spring, summer and fall. Last weekend, I went to one for the first time! I was excited to see all the pups, and even more excited because I have a Corgi nephew to hang out with. Their first beach day event was in 2012, and there were only a handful of Corgis in attendance. This time around, there were 600+! Keep up with future events on their Facebook page, and enjoy all the cute pups below!
Drake Bell | House of Blues, Anaheim
Last month, Drake Bell headlined KLiK Events' SpringFreaks OC show at the House of Blues in Anaheim.
That name may ring a bell for some of you who may remember the Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh. What most people don't know is that Drake, like in the show, is a musician in real life. Being a big fan of the TV show, the concert in Anaheim was something that I couldn't miss.
Drake Bell put on a great set, playing a variety of folk rock covers and his own material from his three studio albums: Telegraph, It's Only Time and Ready, Steady, Go! I was blown away by his talent and charismatic stage presence, and had a fantastic time photographing him.
Naturally, everyone's night was made complete when Drake Bell ended his set with the Drake and Josh theme song "I Found a Way," with an added folk twist to it.

Also, be sure to catch a few videos from the show at the bottom of the post.
This is Drake Bell's song "Makes Me Happy" off of his album It's Only Time.
Drake Bell's final song was "I Found a Way" - also known as the Drake and Josh theme song!
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness | The Roxy Theatre
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness played to a sold-out crowd at Sunset Strip’s Roxy Theatre on Tuesday night. It was a “pre-Coachella warm-up” for the band, as they’re spending the next two weekends in the desert for the festival.
The setlist for the night included songs from all of McMahon’s past projects - Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, The Pop Underground EP and the AMITW self-titled release. Long-time fans of McMahon were excited to hear an acoustic rendition of “21 and Invincible.”
A giant rainbow parachute was brought over the crowd during the encore of “Synesthesia” (think elementary school PE class!), as McMahon sang his 2013 single with the crowd under the parachute, ending the night with good vibes all around.
