Jordan and I met up at Bicentennial Park in beautiful Southlake, TX at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. It had been overcast all day, but some beautiful, soft sunlight peeked out just in time for us to shoot! We made our way into the Liberty Garden - a beautiful area of the park that is dedicated as a memorial of the events of 9/11/2001. Jordan was in need of some new theater headshots, and I was thrilled to be able to shoot them for her!

Lukas Graham | Cambridge Room, HOB Dallas
Just like everyone else in the States, I first heard Danish band Lukas Graham from their song "7 Years," which plays nonstop on the radio lately (I even managed to hear it twice on the 30-minute drive home from their show!). I enjoyed that song so much, that I just had to check out their self-titled international debut, which was released earlier this year. I fell in love instantly.
Fast forward, and I'm scrolling through Facebook and see that Lukas Graham is playing a sold out show in Dallas in three days. THREE DAYS! How did I not know?! I had to be there. I managed to get a photo pass set up last-minute, and was so grateful for the opportunity to photograph him!
The show was absolutely amazing. With the amount of concerts I've been to, it truly takes a lot to impress me these days, but this show was really something special. I was so impressed by frontman, Lukas - not only did he speak so candidly about song meanings and his experiences with grieving, but he was also so incredibly humble. Between his flawless voice and the band's chemistry on stage, I am absolutely certain that this is the last time we'll be lucky enough to see them in such an intimate venue!
The Village Country Club | Dallas, TX
One of my favorite parts of living in Dallas was walking around The Village Country Club. This spring has been full of tulips in full bloom, a variety of ducks, and plenty of pups on the trail loop. I recently moved to the suburbs, and will definitely miss this little slice of paradise in the city!
A Day Downtown | Dallas, TX
We recently spent a day exploring downtown Dallas. Klyde Warren Park was absolutely packed, with both humans and dogs! We had way too much fun camped out by the dog park, entertained by the puppy antics. Before heading back home, we checked out the Dallas Museum of Art.
I loved the reflections in DMA!
This big guy is a Great Pyranees, and was a total sweetheart!
