Jack's Mannequin is currently on the road for their 10 Years in Transit tour, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Everything in Transit. The album was the first of three that the band released between 2005-2011, and remains a strong fan-favorite. Jack's Mannequin came to an end in 2012, when frontman Andrew McMahon transitioned to releasing music under his own name, as Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Despite this change, fans were pleased to see that the band's lineup kept Jack's Mannequin's bassist, Mikey Wagner; and drummer, Jay McMillan. Jack's Mannequin lead guitarist, Bobby Anderson, re-joined the group for this winter 2016 tour, along with Wilderness keyboardist, Zac Clark. This brief tour didn't make it's way to Dallas, but a few friends and I decided to make a road trip up north to Lawrence, Kansas, to catch the show at the Granada Theater last weekend.
